California or Bust
















We celebrated Derek's 17th birthday & our 18th anniversary in California over the 4th of July holiday. We had my brother and his family over to my mom's for dinners, swimming & fireworks. It was good to see my grandma, she turned 90 in June. We then went to Yosemite for our first camping trip with the girls. We were worried what they would think of bugs and dirt but it went really well! We had a great time cooking ourdoors, swimming in the river & enjoying a few hikes to the falls. Our campsite was right by the river. It's so beautiful there!

Hannah Montana birthday party











Amy & Katie will be turning 9 & 6 in Aug. We had some of their friends over for pizza & ice cream and to watch the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert on TV. They had fun singing & dancing! They screamed for The Jonas Brothers. It was hysterical!!!
Tonight we are going to Fiesta Fun for more birthday excitement. Katie invited Chase & Dawson. When she woke up this morning and remembered it was today, she said she had to put on a pretty shirt because Chase was coming. She has a crush on Chase. Amy is bringing Kalee & Bailey.

This is a first!

I didn't think I would ever start a blog, but here it goes. I love reading my friends' blogs and keeping in touch and watching their lives unfold. I hope I can keep up and not feel stressed about it.
