Derek is going to his first homecoming. He asked Chelsie by putting caution tape all over her front yard, drawing chalk lines around his body and putting up a sign that says,"I would die for you to go to homecoming with me." He sits next to Chelsie in History. Chelsie and a friend, Victoria, came over yesterday while Derek was at work. They put up streamers, balloons, star confetti, stuffed animals, gummy bears that said,"Yes!" and a sign that says,"I'm "Bear-y" excited you asked me to homecoming." She's a really nice girl! I'll add pictures of her dress and front yard when I get them. I'll also have to add pics after the big day on Sat. the 27th. Is this all really happening to me?

Wow! That's awesome....seems like yesterday we were the age where we were doing that kind of stuff!
I love that idea--I'll try to remember it for my kids. I can't believe he is so old now!
Kids really go all out these days! That is so great and I can't wait to see how they look in their homecoming attire.
